President of the Republic of South Sudan, H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit, has praised the prevailing peace and stability in Lakes State, commending the efforts of the local government and communities in promoting peace over the past years.
This came during a meeting held on Thursday with the Governor of Lakes State, Lt. Gen. Rin Tueny Mabor, who presented a comprehensive report on the security and social situation in the state.
During the meeting, the Governor confirmed that the situation in the state remains calm and stable, noting that the state government is continuously working to maintain security and promote peaceful coexistence among local communities.
President Kiir expressed his deep appreciation to the Governor and the people of Lakes State for their steadfast commitment to peace over the past four years. He urged them to continue fostering this spirit of cooperation and unity, and to further advance a culture of peace and sustainable development.
