Gold Star Advances to Second Round with Victory Over Mading Achueng

Gold Star Rumbek has once again defeated their rival, Mading Achueng Abyei, in the second leg of the first round of the South Sudan National Cup, Group A, held in Rumbek.

The Rumbek champions had previously beaten Abyei’s champions 4-1 in the first leg.

With this result, Gold Star advanced to the second round after securing a 6-1 aggregate win over Mading Achueng.

Gold Star now joins the clubs of Al-A’mal Al-Hurra Kuajok, Aweil United Aweil, Majak Ajuong, Wanyjok in the second round of the tournament.

In the second round, Al-A’mal Al-Hurra Kuajok will face Aweil United Aweil, while the second match Majak Ajuong Waynjok take on Gold Star Rumbek.
